Break dancing

On December 7, 2020, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) agreed to include break dancing as an official sport at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In the late 1960s, hip-hop dance appeared in New York City on the East coast of the United States and California on the west Coast. It was the dance of the black urban poor in the United States. In the mid-1980s, hip-hop was introduced to China. In 1990, Germany hosted the first “Battle of the Year” street dance competition, which is one of the most important annual street dance competitions in the world.

Breakdance is a kind of acrobatics hip-hop dance with personal style and strong sports nature. With head, shoulders, back and knees as the center of gravity, Breakdance gives priority to difficult movements such as rapid rotation and tumbling.
